Press Release – NEW YORK, NY – Calibre One, a leader in retained executive search operating across North America, Europe, and Asia, extended their reach into the northeast with the promotion of one of their top partners. Girish Mirchandani, who was previously a partner in the San Francisco office, has relocated to New York to further develop Calibre One’s presence in the northeast.
Mr. Mirchandani began his career in financial services at Northwestern Mutual and quickly graduated to entrepreneurship, launching his own internet startup, RentPayment.com. Running a startup exposed him to all sides of business, including recruiting, which became his passion. In 2001, he began his executive search career and recruited talent for corporations including Google, QVC, and Comcast. Since joining Calibre One in 2010, he has expanded his recruiting portfolio placing key executives into Hearst, Aternity, LivingSocial, and PatientPoint.
Managing Partner, Dan Grosh, considers the move to be very significant for the firm. “Girish is well positioned to be of service to our technology and media clients in the east region that are experiencing rapid growth. In addition, he knows the landscape having lived and represented clients in the east coast before and is a central piece of the equation for our continued expansion in North America and beyond.”
Mr. Mirchandani will begin operating out of New York, NY in October 2013.
