Sarah Shields is a Partner based in London. She has over 20 years’ experience advising leadership teams across media, entertainment and technology-enabled businesses and is known for her deep sector expertise, trusted relationships, and ability to identify transformative leadership talent in fast-evolving markets.
Prior to joining Calibre One, Sarah founded Thrive, a strategic executive search and talent consultancy focused on the converging media, entertainment and technology landscape. Earlier in her career, she worked as a television producer and subsequently led in-house talent management functions at leading broadcast companies including RDF, Maverick and Tiger Aspect.
In 2012, Sarah launched We Are PiP, the UK’s first specialist TV production search company, building a strong reputation for delivering senior leadership talent and advising clients on team build-outs and organisational strategy. She has since worked with founders, investors and leadership teams across the UK, Europe and the US to help organisations scale and navigate periods of transformation.
At Calibre One, Sarah sits within our Consumer, Sports & Entertainment practice and focuses on senior leadership appointments across media, content, technology and digitally-enabled businesses, working closely with private equity investors, and executive teams to build leadership capability for growth.
