Leo started his career in retained search at a boutique life science executive search firm exclusive to regulatory affairs where he gained a thorough understanding of all stages of drug development. He was then recruited to Korn Ferry’s life science team to help strengthen their regulatory affairs focus area while completing many technical, financial, and commercial searches.
With a strong network of investors, C-Suite and N-1 level of leadership, Leo has developed a strong presence in executing searches across various functional areas with a specialization in recruiting top tier business development, financial, & investment professionals.
Leo joined Calibre One from True Search where he was employee number two on the life science and healthcare team. He was promoted twice over the span of four years and was heavily involved in growing the healthcare and life science team to nearly 40 people while serving on leadership groups within the firm.
He has experience in delivering high caliber candidates for management and executive roles in research and discovery, clinical development, commercial, finance, regulatory and quality for clients ranging from pre-series A to post-IPO. He has served clients across the life sciences and healthcare sectors, with a major in the field of biopharmaceuticals.
Leo earned his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Union College. In his free time, he enjoys playing hockey, skiing, fishing, and lives for long trail runs with his Bloodhound named Washington.
