Ivan began his career as a medical scientist before moving into regional leadership roles within Fortune 100 healthcare companies, where he led corporate account strategy, market development, and operational teams across Asia and the United States. His deep industry grounding and cross‑functional commercial background give him a nuanced understanding of the scientific, regulatory, and strategic demands facing today’s health and life sciences innovators.
Before joining Calibre One, Ivan served in senior leadership roles at global search and advisory firms including Boyden, where he was Partner & Asia Pacific Practice Leader for Life Sciences, and Kingsley Gate. He has partnered with multinational organisations, emerging growth companies, and private‑equity‑backed ventures to build transformative leadership teams across Europe, the US, and Asia‑Pacific.
A certified executive and team coach, Ivan also works closely with senior leaders to enhance performance, strengthen culture, and drive measurable behavioural change. He is known for his collaborative approach, global perspective, and ability to support leaders navigating complex and fast‑evolving markets.
Ivan holds an M.Sc in Medical Microbiology and Bacteriology from Osaka University and completed the Executive Leadership Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. He has lived and worked in Singapore, Tokyo, Shanghai, Memphis, St. Paul and London.
