With tenure at Calibre One, Aanand has been sourcing and discerning key leadership, and helping industry icons grow and build for more than 30 years. Practicing from the heart of Silicon Valley, Aanand focuses on technology leadership roles across locations and industries. Aanand has deep experience in enterprise software, infrastructure, data science, Internet, and technology sectors. Having spent many years building companies as head HR and Talent, Aanand is capable and experienced in human capital services, and brings an inside perspective to executive search and development of top-performing executive teams.
Prior to Calibre One, Aanand was head of HR and Talent for corporations including Medallia, Palm, Palantir, and VMware. Early at VMware in 2002, Aanand was responsible for building teams and finding leaders across all functions and locations, through successful acquisition by EMC, and best IPO of 2007. Aanand has been a programmer and techy since high school, has played contributor roles on product teams, and at Calibre One today, he leads our practice for technical leadership with an adept understanding of the tech stacks, data sciences, and Dev best practices. Aanand is an alumnus of Biology and Computer Science at the University of California, San Diego and Notre Dame de Namur University.
