Mark Kornegay brings wealth of sales and business development leadership, public service experience.

St. Louis, MO – Feb. 27, 2019 – Omnigo Software, a leading provider of public safety, incident and security management solutions for law enforcement, education, healthcare and other enterprise markets, today announced that Mark Kornegay has been appointed Chief Revenue Officer at the company.

Prior to joining Omnigo, Mark served as senior vice president of worldwide channel and field sales at Armor, a cloud security and compliance solutions company. In that role, he restructured Armor’s 50-person sales organization, built effective channel relationships and enhanced alliances to further develop domestic and international sales opportunities that resulted in consistent year-over-year growth.

Before that, Mark was a longtime General Manager at Microsoft, where he led a 100-person organization and was responsible for more than $400 million in revenue across the Western United States. During his time at Microsoft, Mark also served as the GM of the company’s Small and Medium Businesses in the Central Region of the United States. In that capacity, he led direct sales, channel sales and partner development across an 18-state region. Mark also held sales and business development leadership positions at several disruptive technology companies, including Kana and BancVue (now Kasassa). Mark began his career in public service, where he was a special prosecutor for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Central District of California and a Special Agent for the FBI.

Mark is a graduate of the University of Virginia and holds a Juris Doctorate from Catholic University of America in Washington D.C.
