Openwave Makes New Addition to Executive Team
Former World Wide VP Sales at VOSS, Will Blench joins as VP & GM EMEA
Openwave, a global software innovator delivering context-aware mediation and messaging solutions appoints Will Blench as the Vice President & General Manager for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). The search was delivered by Richard Brennan and Philip Boyd, Partners at Calibre One.
With 18 years of experience in the software and telecommunications industries, Mr. Blench brings to the company vast international and commercial expertise, and also a strong technical background. An exceptional sales leader, he holds a strong new business track record.
Prior to joining Openwave Mr. Blench was World Wide Vice President at VOSS where he took responsibility for the company’s direct and indirect sales, as well as technical engineering for all regions. He was also the VP Sales for EMEA at Cramer where he grew sales from £7m a year to over £40m.
