Social Shopping Leader appoints new Vice President of Marketing and Communications
Popular social shopping site LivingSocial, announced the appointment of Camille Watson, Vice President of Marketing and Communications.
"In just one year, LivingSocial has expanded into 89 markets and 3 countries, we have grown from 30 to 300 employees and we have no plans of slowing down," said Tim O'Shaughnessy, CEO and co-founder of LivingSocial. "We now have the support, expertise and guidance of three exceptional business leaders to take us to the next phase of growth in the social shopping industry."
Camille Watson brings more than 19 years of experience marketing consumer products and services to LivingSocial as vice president of marketing and communications. In her new role, she will focus on corporate marketing and product strategy. Watson has held several senior marketing positions at leading technology and consumer companies including The Clorox Company, Procter & Gamble, Netflix and StubHub. More recently, she served as vice president of marketing at GameFly, managing all elements of the company's marketing program, and was chief marketing officer at eReading service provider, Kobo Inc.
