Jigsaw appoints Virendra Vase as Vice President of Engineering

Jigsaw, the world’s largest online business directory, today announced that Virendra Vase has joined the Jigsaw executive management team as Vice President of Engineering.

Vase joins Jigsaw from Yahoo where he was VP of Engineering in the Search & Advertising technology group responsible for Small Medium Business, CRM, APT adoption, Business Intelligence Platform for the Advertising Network among other initiatives. Vase will assume responsibility for all engineering and network operations for Jigsaw.

Vase has extensive experience with large scalable systems and delivering high performance data platforms & analytics. In addition, he brings experience in enterprise integration working with large clients like Citibank and Discover which will be significant to Jigsaw’s continued partner growth and success.

Prior to Yahoo!, Vase served as COO at MetaReward/Experian, a performance based ad network, which grew from 10M to 80M annually during his tenure. Vase has held executive positions at companies, including Responsys and Engage and served as an engineer at Hal Computer Systems, and Unisys.
