Eduardo Cervantes joins Panda Security as CMO

Global provider of IT security solutions, Panda Security have recruited Eduardo Cervantes as their new Chief Marketing Officer. Headquartered in Madrid, Panda Security has millions of clients in more than 200 countries and products available in 23 languages.

Their mission is to develop and supply global security solutions to keep their clients' IT resources safe from the damage inflicted by viruses, intruders and other Internet threats at the lowest possible Total Cost of Ownership. Panda Security proposes a new security model, specially designed to firmly combat new types of cyber-crime. This results in technologies and products with much greater detection and efficiency rates than the market average, providing a higher level of security to our users.

Prior to joining Panda, Cervantes was Chief Marketing and Product Officer for NTRglobal where he oversaw the “promise” that NTRglobal makes its customers and its delivery, from product design to trial to renewal, including the vital feedback from customers about NTRglobal Software as a Service (SaaS). Under his leadership, NTRglobal increased its revenue growth and profitability through a variety of winning new products, aggressive customer acquisition strategies, and the sharpening of the company growth strategy.

Cervantes also previously founded, managed and successfully exited both through IPO and acquisition, four e-commerce and Software as a Service companies in the Silicon Valley where he served in CEO and CMO capacities.

He is also a member of the investment committee of ClearPath Technology Ventures, a leading Silicon Valley venture capital group. He started his career in investment banking with Goldman Sachs in NY, and grew up in Marketing with companies like Procter & Gamble. He holds a Master of Statistics and an MBA from University of Texas at Austin.
