Awarepoint hires Stephen Zaniboni as CFO

Leading RTLS Provider for Hospitals Continues Staffing Up for Growth

Zaniboni comes to Awarepoint with vast experience as a financial leader with companies in health care and technology. He most recently served as Chief Financial Officer of San Diego-based XIFIN, Inc., a leading provider of revenue cycle management software-as-a-service for diagnostic laboratories. His experience includes raising more than $500 million through venture financing and IPO proceeds for high growth healthcare and technology companies. Zaniboni has served as Chief Financial Officer of AviaraDx (now bioTheranostics, acquired by bioMerieux), Arcturus Bioscience (acquired by Molecular Devices Corp., now MDS) and Sequenom. Prior, he held various financial management positions at Aspect Medical Systems, Behring Diagnostics, and Boston Scientific. Mr. Zaniboni is co-founder of Sorrento Therapeutics, Inc. and serves as a member of its board of directors. He was a practicing CPA with Arthur Andersen and holds a B.S. in accounting from Boston University and an M.B.A. from Boston College.
