Aerohive Networks Appoints Dr. Lin Jiang as VP of Technical Operations
Aerohive Networks, creators of the award-winning cooperative control wireless LAN (WLAN) architecture, announced today that Dr. Lin Jiang has joined the company as VP of Technical Operations. Jiang will report directly to Aerohive's CEO, David Flynn and will be responsible for all aspects of the company's SaaS Operations, Customer Support and IT/Business Systems.
"With the adoption of 802.11n, wireless has moved from a nice to have feature to business critical infrastructure," said David Flynn, CEO of Aerohive. "Lin's proven experience will be invaluable as we continue to grow our customer base and expand our HiveManager Online SaaS enterprise Wi-Fi management solution. HiveManager Online provides all the features and functionality of a behind-the-firewall wireless network management system (WNMS) without the installation, operation, and maintenance associated with a dedicated management server and at dramatically lower cost."
Prior to joining Aerohive, Jiang was the VP of Technical Operations at Vobile, Inc. where he was responsible for worldwide SaaS service delivery, global IT operation and technical support. He created Vobile's Technical Operations teams from the ground up and led the expansion of Vobile's video identification service infrastructure.
